Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre is a non formal educational institution for the promotion of science and technology among students and members of the public. The first of its kind in this region, the centre operates under the aegis of the Ministry of Education and Human Resources of the Republic of Mauritius.


The science communication contest 2007 organised by RGSC was won by one of our members, Divya Pallavi Ramyead...

It was a powerpoint presentation and the title of the presentation of Divya Ramyead was "SUNSPOTS":

She was awarded a prize of Rs15,000...
In other words, the whole club was rewarded for all the time we invested, our energy, dedication and our will to win! Not to forget our dear teachers, Mrs Jeetun and Miss Mungur who are the teachers in charge for the club...

WHEN THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY..
That`s what we`ve learnt and Divya Ramyead has set an example...

I wish that the coming members will be inspired and do even better...

And as for winning, then be alert..we are going to take away all the prizes in the coming competitions! :P
